Specialists, business people, investors, representatives of local governments and the world of science have been brought together in Kielce in order to hold a discussion on the possibilities of Eastern Poland development. Bożentyna Pałka-Koruba, Swietokrzyskie Voivode, addressed all the conference participants gathered in Targi Kielce Conference Centre with the word of welcome.

The Voivode expressed her approval for this kind of meetings as well as the necessity of cooperation designed for Eastern Poland development: We must have one vision. Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship as well as all other Voivodeships of Eastern Poland need to assess their abilities and lines of development in order to utilise the grants we have been given at full. She also highlighted the role Targi Kielce play in the development of the Voivodeship: Targi Kielce S.A. is the example of good work regardless the external conditions. It serves the example as the opinion about Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship marginalisation are greatly exaggerated said the Voivode. The conference guests were given the possibility of listening to the lecture on “Ideas for Eastern Poland” and taking part in the panel discussion following it.

Investments in Eastern Poland Forum is first and foremost the chance to become familiar with the experts’ opinions on professional support for investors, investment attractiveness of the region and the new possibilities created in it. Piotr Grudzień introduced the listeners into the questions of so called “Poland’s Investment Incentives” and then Paweł Śliwiński PhD spoke about the principles regarding the shares market of NewConnect. Tadeusz Pęczek presented the audience with the activities exercised by the service cluster Grono Targowe Kielce which is the exemplification of innovative cooperation network operating in the region.
