Sports fishing and survival in the Amazon at the second Fishing and Survival Festival
Łukasz Tulej, AKA online as "Tooley" joined the Fishing and Survival Festival at the Kielce exhibition and congress centre and talked about meeting indigenous people, the local population, and his visits to places in the Amazon where every explorer begins their adventure. He emphasized that the Amazon rainforest is associated with something pristine, but that this is not true as the Amazon has rich natural resources. Large amounts of garbage can be found in every town. Sports anglers can go fising in the middle of the jungle. The lecture presented different types of fish that can be caught while exploring the Amazon: toucanars, pirararas, piranhas, poyars and aquatic mammals. However, exploration may contribute to environmental degradation and the Amazon exploration trip may mean discomfort and monotony, terrain obstacles, dangerous vertebrates and invertebrates, and poisonous plants.
Łukasz Tulej is a traveller, survival instructor and, naturalist and the founder of the survival school "Sobrevivencia con Machiguenga" in Peru, Koribeni. He is an advocate of learning through experience as the most effective way of acquiring knowledge. Delve into the greenery of the jungle, immerse in the heart of a lost world, work with the indigenous people to learn to treat the selva like a mother, rather than something threatening and unknown is the objective. Survival became his domain, his life and professional discipline which is reflected in his YouTube channel where he talks about the art of survival and survival events.
