Stella Smejda from PAIH Polish Investment and Trade Agency: - Many regions of the world create development opportunities for Polish cosmetics manufacturers
Contract events for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry - Slavic B2Beauty; the only event of this kind in the country. Slavic B2Beauty means business meetings arranged at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre. The exhibitors’ fellowship consists of companies producing cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and packaging products, they come from Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Italy and even Singapore.
They will present their offer to about a hundred entrepreneurs from three continents in B2B sessions. Delegations of companies from the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Qatar (the Middle East representations), Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and China (Asia), Kenya, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt - in Africa, Great Britain, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Romania and Spain (Europe). Representatives of retail chains, supermarkets and drugstores, manufacturers and wholesalers are at the show; a significant part of delegates represents large companies, ranked among the leaders in the sale of cosmetics in their countries.
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency supports the interest of foreign buyers in Targi Kielce's products. - Robust experience of our employees made it possible to reach industry representatives in many different countries. We tried to match make the offer of Polish companies with the needs of enterprises in order to give our domestic producers and distributors a chance to develop and increase exports. All foreign trade offices of our institution were involved in the promotion - explains Stella Smejda, supervisor of the cosmetics industry on behalf of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. – Each region is valuable and offers development chances, thus it is crucial to become familiar with a given market and build a bespoke market-entry strategy. We help in understanding how a given country operates so that a Polish company is offered the opportunity to introduce its brands in the right way. Each direction can turn out to be a new export target; today, for Polish entrepreneurs find Asia and the United Arab Emirates the most attractive and prospective markets.
As Stella Smejda emphasizes, PAIH Polish Investment and Trade Agency received signals from the participants of the first Slavic B2Beauty about relationships they have established that resulted in contracts. Polish products have already been exported to the United Arab Emirates. – These results motivate us to look for new buyers. We can see that the enterprise is the opportunity-creator, it results in contracts signed. It is worth taking part in this event - she points out.

Two institutions from the region opened a chance for companies from Świętokrzyskie to acquire new export markets; the supporting institutions are the Marshal's Office of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship with its expo stand hosting companies from Kielce - LYOFARM and PODOPHARM, and Prosper Mira from Bilcza near Kielce.
The other is the Swietokrzyskie Innovativeness and Technology Transfer Centre with its expo stand., This features offer will of the Busko-Zdrój health resort in Świętokrzyskie, Farmona and IOSSI in Małopolska, as well as the Enterprise Europe Network, i.e. the largest European network of centres supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
