16th International Fair of Stone And Stone Machinery INTERKAMIEŃ will be a chance to meet the artists who use stone as the material for their works of art. At the Stone Arena which is 130 metres in size a cultural-didactic zone will be created.

Lubosz Karwat, known for his unconventional ideas will encourage the fair guests to take jointly create a work of art. In the course of the event a sculpture – the artistic vision of the newly designed Targi Kielce Congress Centre – will be created. A 3,5 metre work will be all covered with natural stone, and every fair visitor will have a chance to put their own little brick. The event organiser is SParTM.

Another offer of the fair is the Exhibition of Design in Stone contest. The contest organiser is the Nowy Kamieniarz editorial office. The works designed by the students of The Academy of Fine Arts and made by the companies which are the partners of the contest have already been recognised by specialists in Poland and abroad. The functionality of these works and their beauty have been noticed and appreciated by fair institutions all over Europe including the Verona and Nuremberg fair representatives.
