The L for Love television serial characters talk about Targi Kielce

Mirka and Krzysztof - the characters of the record breaking TV series M jak Miłość (L for Love) have visited Targi Kielce where they concluded profitable business deals. Upon returning to their office in Poland’s capital city they praise the exhibition centre’s professionalism …

… and all that on TVP 2 (Polish National Television channel 2) when the drama series was on air. The L for Love serial is broadcasted on Mondays and Tuesdays at 20.45 on TVP2. This TV series in now Poland’s most popular TV drama with the viewing figures of 9 million TV spectators. TV audiences all over the world will also learn about Targi Kielce as the L for Love is also broadcasted on TV Polonia. The episode id repeated on TVP2 on Saturday at 7.30.

The plot of Eastern Poland entrepreneurship and its development and of Targi Kielce appears in the TV series as one of the promotional activities of the Eastern Poland Development Regional Programme; the Ministry of Regional Development has been responsible for the programme implementation. The series episode also mention some other programme projects such as the dynamic development of Eastern Poland’s universities which have been granted with European Funds support.


Targi Kielce is ranked third among all Central and Eastern Europe exhibition centres; the centre has been developing and expanding its infrastructure. The construction works are the part of the “Modernisation and expansion of Targi Kielce Infrastructure as the International Exhibition-Congress Centre” within the framework of the Operational Programme Development of Eastern Poland for the years 2007 – 2013. The investment value accounts for over 170 M PLN. In 2010 Poland’s most state of the art exhibition hall was put into operation; in 2013 the western side entry terminal, a multi level car park and the biggest venture in Kielce’s centre history – the Congress Centre designed for 1000 people will be fully operational. The Targi Kielce infrastructure development project, scoring 50 thousand votes, was the winner or the “Przymierz się” contest; the contest was targeted at the Internet users and its objective was to select the most popular PO RPW measure. The Ministry of Regional Development recognised the Targi Kielce infrastructure expansion the best PO RPW investment.
