Targi Kielce Hackathon - the award project has been announced! Another step towards the green transformation of the Kielce exhibition and congress centre is now possible
– Implementing the technology presented by Vive Innovation will allow the reuse of materials. What has so far been considered waste after the expo ends will now be the input material. This is another step towards the green transformation of our expo centre. I believe this solution will also be of interest to other centres in Poland and worldwide. Importantly, we also consider the possibility of further cooperation with other companies whose projects and ideas are equally interesting and can provide measurable benefits. We are thus open for talks - says Andrzej Mochoń, president of Targi Kielce. The new solution make Targi Kielce a frontrunner of innovative and ecological solutions for the exhibition industry! The Kielce Exhibition and Congress Centre is Poland's first exhibition centre that decided to take up the challenge and find an alternative to existing carpets or a way for further use of carpets.
– We have developed the technology to produce a composite that can be transformed into virtually any shape. Such a product can be used for small-scale architectural elements, structures and elements, e.g. expo stands. The solution we offer is made of 100% recyclate. Even if damaged, the product can be re-processed and take the shape of another product - says Krzysztof Skoczyński, Sales Manager at VIVE Innovation.
Targi Kielce Hackathon is a part of the "BioBoosters - boosting the circular transition" project, i.e the project is carried out by an international consortium of renowned universities, innovation hubs and social and economic entities. The PRO CIVIS Foundation, the organiser of the Targi Kielce Hackathon, is the Polish representative in the project.
