Targi Kielce partners the first stage of the Tour de Pologne
Passion for sport, partnership with the largest producers of sports equipment and promotion of Polish sport on the national and international arena have been an essential elements and a pillar of the company's activity for years. This has been demonstrated through its sponsoring of VIVE. Given the always growing interest of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship's inhabitants in bicycles, advancing the road and cycling infrastructure in the region which was once famous for cycling, Targi Kielce, together with the city of Kielce and the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship's authorities have resolved to partner this year's Tour de Pologne, Poland's largest cycling event!
The sports milieu and its representatives, including Kamil Stoch, Piotr Żyła, Jerzy Dudek, Maja Włoszczowska - a mountain biker et. al, have regularly visited Targi Kielce and marked their presence at different expos. The Kielce exhibition and congress centre ranked at the top of the peloton among all Central and Eastern Europe's expo centres. Targi Kielce's objective is to win the leader's yellow jacket. There are 70 trade fairs on the Kielce expo centre's calendar. Its Congress Centre is the home of several hundred conferences a year.
A plethora of events and hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers have been Targi Kielce's competitive advantage for years. Among these, there is the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO which enjoys a global reputation which can be compared to Giro d'Italia. PLASTPOL - the Plastics Processing Fair, the AGROTECH - the International Fair of Agricultural Technology can also be mentioned here. There are also sports events, such as the DEBUTS of the Polish Bodybuilding, Fitness and Powerlifting Association, which has advanced to be the most important bodybuilding event in Poland. The Kielce Bike Expo is the obvious example; and now there are also boxing events - a part of the Suzuki Boxing Night. Over 500 participants of the MTB Bike Atelier Marathon setting off from the Market Square in Kielce. This year's 79th Tour de Pologne had its start in the very same location - the Kielce Market Square.
