This year’s International Fair of Technologies for Foundry METAL has brought together as many as 21 famous Italian companies. And the group comprises, inter alia Copromec Die Casting, Fondarex and Tecnofusione di Marconi. This is the record breaking number of Italian companies attending the sjow.

The Kielce fair will be used by Copromec Die Casting as the showcase for their injection pistons patented with copper rings, the solution which has been awarded with a patent. Such pistons provide for a whole array of technological and economical advantages; stable injection in consecutive injection shots, slower sprue bush and piston consumption as well as less time consuming ring replacement.

The exhibition stand of FONDAREX will be the showcase for, among many other exhibits vacuum valve SUPERVAC®. It takes 1 millisecond for the mechanically-closing valve to react as it uses the kinetic force of metal. The valves provide for a high gas evacuation capability from the mould cavity in the process of vacuum-enhanced pressure die casting.

Another product made in Italy which is displayed at the METAL fair is RELBO’s spray head sleeve for pressure die-casting forms; the solution allows to use one head for many forms. The end-piece consist of specific throttle solutions designed for a particular for form; all it takes is to mount it on in order to apply lubricant agent.
