The PZPN awards presented in recognition of work to improve safety at football stadiums – the Fair Play Gala of the SPORT-OBIEKT and ALARM trade fair

The group of laureates also encompasses Robert Dybka, Korona Kielce board of management plenipotentiary for security and mass event organisation

The prestigious statuettes in recognition of a long-standing work to raise security level at stadiums were presented by Adam Olkowicz – deputy president of PZPN responsible for international operations and the Polish EURO 2012 manager, and Andrzej Bińkowski – the head of PZPN department for security assurance at football facilities. The best of the best have been selected by Ekstraklasa S.A., Piłkarska Liga Polska (Polish Football League) and Polish Football Association. It is a subsequent time when the worker of Korona Kielce – the football team sponsored by Targi Kielce has been presented with this award.

Other laureates are police inspector Marek Maruchniak – KRP 1 ŚRÓDMIESCIE commander, Bogusław Błędowski security head of Legia Warsaw, Zbigniew the head of security and mass event organisation department of Łódź Sports Club, Robert Dybka, Korona Kielce board of management plenipotentiary for security and mass event organisation, Dariusz Guzikowski – the head of security at Arka Gdynia, senior inspector Waldemar Jarczewski – deputy Commander in Chief of Polish Police, Jan Grzelka, Jerzy Karasiński, Jan Ozga and Tomasz Kosiec – the representatives of Security Department at PZPN, Jerzy Kmieć – the head of security at Piast Gliwice football club, Edward Folmer – the head of security at MKS Kluczborg, Maciej Brzeski – the head of security Warta Poznań, Roman Próba – the head of security at Miedź Legnica, Adam Wysocki – the head of security at Lechia Gdańsk, Krzysztof Hermanowicz - the head of administration and security at Ruch Chorzów.

The accolades were also presented for institutions; for Legia Warsaw in recognition of exemplary organisation and security assurance at international football matches, for Silesia Football Association for all its work for security level improvement at football facilities, for the Agency of Personal and Material Protection ”Zubrzycki” for their paragon cooperation with PZPN with regards to security provision at Polish national football team matches.

The gale evening was also the occasion to present other distinctions and accolades: the PZPN cup, the Targi Kielce medals and distinctions for the products put in display ay the SPORT-OBIEKT and ALARM trade fairs. For more information about the laureates slick here.
