The BRIDAL AWARDS 2011 title has been awarded for the second time during the MODNY ŚLUB trade fair. There were 19 dresses taking part in the contest; the professional jury composed of the specialists of the world of fashion, media and culture - Elżbieta Dziewięcka, Ewa Bujak, Katarzyna Kulińska and Artur Wijata selected ten best dresses to compete in the strict finals. Each dress had only its name and the contest number, the name of the company was revealed when the final decision of the jury was made public. The public had also their say in the selection of the most beautiful wedding dress. Among the dresses there were modest dresses of minimalist style; they often made up for this simplicity with the richness of the skirt and interesting fabric texture. The presentation was not short of fashionable laces, drapery, pleat, tulles and chiffons.

The public prize– SHELBY made by KIARA salon

- It was almost a unanimous vote – said Artur Wijata, a stylist and the jury panel chairperson. – We decided to go for chic and modern elegance. We very much liked this alternative form of presentation which was slightly inspired with Japanese trends. A narrow and white, minimal dress is the fashion tendency which has recently gained recognition. We also had to take into consideration the fact that the public would look for more commercial dresses featuring trinkets. Each bride eventually wants to feel like a real princess. And we were right about it.
