CEPLAST is the first Hungarian edition of the record breaking International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PLASTPOL; the 15th edition of this fair was held in Targi Kielce in May 2011. CEPLAST – the debut exhibition held in Budapest will bring together companies mainly from Central and Eastern Europe, including Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia. The list of exhibitors already comprises over 70 companies, and among them there are market leaders such as Hungarian TVK, the Polish company P&F Wartacz or Hungarian Investment and Trade Agency www.hita.hu.

The branch range of the fair will focus on most characteristic features of the region and the exhibition will undoubtedly become one of the most significant business events for this line of business that is the sector of plastics and rubber. The exhibition will be a meeting platform primarily designed for raw materials and machine providers, plastic processors and their customers. The venue for the CEPLAST exhibition is not a coincidence as Central and Eastern Europe is the region with a long-standing tradition of processing with hundreds of business-related companies operating its market. The CEPLAST trade fair co-organiser is also ECEBD (Eastern and Central European Business Development Ltd.).

The fair will be accompanied by the 2nd East-Central European Plastics Converters Forum; the primary focus of the Forum will be the question how to increase income of plastic processing companies operating in Central Europe markets.
