The provisional hospital operated as many as three vaccination stations; the entrance for residents available from Kongresowa Street through gate number 6. The queue of people willing to get vaccinated formed in the morning.
- In my opinion, this is a much better and more convenient way, just drive in and get vaccinated. No strings attached. I believe that this is a big advantage - says Bartosz Łukaszczyk, one of the residents who decided to make the best of the opportunity on Thursday.
This is already the third municipal vaccination point against COVID-19 prepared by the local government, i.e. the City of Kielce. In recent days, the stationary points have become operational in seniors' clubs in 75 Jana Nowaka-Jeziorańskiego and 5 Legionów streets.
The official opening of the drive-thru vaccination point was attended by Zbigniew Koniusz, the Świętokrzyskie Voivode, Bogdan Wenta, Mayor of Kielce, Bartosz Stemplewski, director of the Provincial Complex Hospital in Kielce, and Bożena Staniak, vice president of Targi Kielce's management board.
- The City of Kielce supports universal access to vaccinations; the campaign may give us hope we can win with the pandemic so that we can spend the upcoming holidays safely. The drive-thru point is the city's third vaccination point. Not only is this intended for the Kielce inhabitants, but all the Świętokrzyskie region's citizens willing to vaccinate. I would like to thank the Provincial Complex Hospital in Kielce's management and the Świętokrzyskie Voivode for their cooperation. Thanks are extended to the management board and employees of Targi Kielce and the City Hall. We are grateful for preparing vaccination stations - emphasizes Bogdan Wenta, Mayor of Kielce.
- National Immunization Program comes in many forms and unveilings. Availability of a more significant number of points of this type is one of the aspects. Vaccinations pace will thus increase. Until now, more than twelve and a half million vaccinations have been administered in Poland, and over three million people have reached full immunity. I would like to thank everyone for cooperation, and I wish we were able to get vaccinated quickly and safely - says Zbigniew Koniusz, Voivode of Świętokrzyskie Province.
Get your vaccine delivered into your car. All we need to do is to sign up via the hotline, Patient Online Account and telephone contact centre, which operates the drive-thru point. Before arriving at the vaccination clinic, it is worth bringing a completed health qualification form with you; however, you can also get on on the spot.
- At the drive-thru point, there are three vaccine administration units, in each of them can serve about twelve people an hour. The vaccination process is quick and safe. Drivers should wait for a minimum of twenty minutes in the car park after receiving a vaccination. Passengers waiting time is shorter - just fifteen. All of them are supervised by our medical staff - informs Bartosz Stemplewski, director of the Regional Polyclinical Hospital in Kielce.
Vaccinations available from 9.00 to 16.00 on an opening day, starting from 7 May the opening time is from 8 am to 2.30 pm. However, the vaccination schedule is subject to vaccines availability.
I am glad that Targi Kielce, in response to the Kielce Mayor's demand, was able to join in the preparations. We have provided the area, technical infrastructure and access to the utilities. Those who want to vaccinate ought to use the entrance gate located at the Targi Kielce's landmark - its viewing tower. We look forward to seeing you - says Mrs. Bożena Staniak, Targi Kielce Vice President of Board
