The first European Aero Clubs Forum - the opportunity to discuss and establish industry contacts
The European Aero Clubs Forum brought together representatives of many clubs, foundations, associations and enterprises operating in Poland. They focused on the aviation industry.
The meeting was started by Mateusz Nowak from the Zamość Region Aeroclub, who spoke about the huge impact of the situation beyond our eastern border on the small airports' activities.
- The circumstances changed dramatically in a very short time; we thought that similar problems are no longer with us - he said. - Small airports started to play the role of critical infrastructure. For example, our aero club has been working closely with the American army since the Russian army's invasion on Ukraine.
Other speakers - representatives of the Zamość Region Aeroclub; president of Aero Partner, Sławomir Sarnowski spoke about the development of the infrastructure of small airports. Marek Jóźwicki, president of the Nasz Aeroklub Foundation and also the president of the Karkonosze Glider Association, discussed the role of non-governmental organizations in building cross-border relations and international cooperation, not forgetting the importance of aeroclubs in the development and popularization of aviation and the social aspect of creating associations and non-governmental organizations.
Michał Graczyk, from the Leszno airport, spoke about the effective management of General Aviation airports on the example of the port in Leszno. Jan Jawornik, president of the Kielce Aero Club, who is a partner of this year's Aviation Expo talked about the importance of clubs in training professional and sports aviation personnel.
Maria Kalwasińska from PGL Leasing told about leasing as a method of financing the operations of the aviation industry. The last speaker - Michał Stodolak from Warter Aviation, devoted his speech to aviation fuel stations for airports.
The last item on the Forum's agenda - networking. Thus the meeting participants could establish new industry contacts and discuss the topics discussed in 'the presentations.
