Jelcz, San and Ikarus – these are the main attractions of the exhibition which is a&nbps;pleasant complement of the 9th International Fair of Public Transport TRANSEXPO, held from 20th to 22nd September 2011.

The oldest exhibit put on display will be a&nbps;classic “ogórek” (pl. cucumber) Jelcz 272 Mex of 1971. This one is a&nbps;perfect conversion of the city transport bus 043 model. The exhibition will also feature six other vehicles: San H-100B of 1973 which is a&nbps;living image of the most numerous batches of busses designed for town and city transport, Ikarus 260.04 of 1982 – a&nbps;cult car which has been restored to the model of the first batches delivered in the period of 1970/80, a&nbps;couple of Jelcz made in 1985 and 86 – long distance transport busses which also supplemented the city transport.

The youngest of all exhibits will be Jelcz of 1991, which is perfectly in line with the spirit of the vintage bus exhibition as it is one of the rare examples of the mass-produced city transport busses, which are now at the verge of extinction.

And there is something special which adds real flavour to the exhibition – an open-top Jelcz 043 of 1976.

The exhibits come to Kielce form Krakow, Warsaw, Poznań. The exhibition organiser, and at the same time the co-organiser of the TRANSEXPO fair is – IGKM – National Chamber of Municipal Transport.
