The Foundry Industry’s 11th Forum – the convention of Foundry Presidents and Directors in Poland!

The two-day Forum organised by the Foundry Chamber of Commerce and the Technical Association of Polish Foundrymen at the Binkowski Hotel in Kielce attracted 100 participants, managers and industry specialists. The was the platform for discussion on the challenges and problems the sector is now facing

The first of many lectures at the 11th  Forum of Foundry Presidents and Directors in Poland was delivered by Professor Jerzy Hausner PhD. Hab. on the situation and prospects of the Polish economy. The discussion part devoted to the current challenges of the foundry industry attracted great interest.  In addition to the Presidents and Directors of the Foundry Chamber of Commerce in Poland, representatives of European and national foundry associations, as well as the world foundry organisation participated in the discussion. There were guests from Spain, Germany, France, Turkey, United Kingdom and Italy. The panel was moderated by Thomas Fritsch, CEO of Foundry-Planet.

The second day of the Forum began with an immense knowledge pack - the commencement speech by the Secretary General of the Technical Association of Polish Foundrymen, Doctor Engineer  Katarzyna Liszka, who provided the audience with a lot of valuable information. The discussion panel on financing foundry from external funds, previous experiences and financing current challenges of the foundry industry attracted great interest.

The Forum was combined with the 30th anniversary of the Foundry Chamber of Commerce -  the celebration of this wonderful anniversary witnessed three Honorary Gold Badges of the Polish Chamber of Commerce were awarded for special contributions to the development of economic self-government. There were also thanks to sponsors and media partners.

We also look forward to seeing you at interesting discussions related to the future and challenges of the industry held within the scope of the METAL International Fair of Technologies for Foundry - on 24-25 September 2024 at Targi Kielce.
