Father Professor Witold Kawecki again invites its readers to take a trip to the sunny Italy. This time, the author will present the achievements of women in creating beauty, with particular emphasis on Artemizja Gentileschi. Her life and works in some ways reflect contemporary Italy; Artemisia, born in Rome i.e. the city of ancient traditions and Christian foundations experienced her artistic development in Tuscany, the cradle of the Renaissance and the centre of art, especially in the context of Florence. Father Professor Witold Kawecki lectures at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, and specialises in cultural theology. He is a professor and preacher, the head of the Department of Dialogue of Faith and Culture at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, a writer and media person, journalist and cultural expert, author of over 30 books. He cooperates with Polish Radio, TVP and other means of social communication, and he has been awarded the Special Feniks 2024 for an innovative approach to popularising religious topics.
