The most beautiful modified car-wonders win DUB IT awards. Here are the winners
VAG Association, the co-organiser of DUB IT! resolved the competition for tuned cars on Sunday. The authors of the winning projects received awards.
- In E expo hall, there were unique cars; each one was tuned in an original, incomparableway. From among all of them, we chose those whose modification was consistent with the model, with an idea, which was a uniform concept - explains Jakub Skowron, vice president of the VAG Kielce Association.
This year the Best of Show awards were presented in a number of categories: The Audi A4 B8 by Waldemar Kowalczyk won the New Wave, i.e. the modern cars produced in 2000. The Old School category, i.e. from before the 1990s, aw two classic Audi from the 1960s, which were recognised as the best. THe are owned by Bartosz Sobania from Radom.
The Air Ride, i.e. the best car with air suspension - Tomasz Smółkowski's Lexus LS 600 HL was pronounced the winner. The Static category, i.e. the best car with a coilover suspension, saw Krzysztof Walkowicz's BMW M3 E30 winning. The award for the greatest power - Dyno Queen went to the Audi S4, prepared by BiMoto MTuning. This is a model with two turbo V6 engines, four-wheel drive, and a total of two thousand horsepower. Przemysław Rusinek, who prepared the first generation of the BMW M5, won the Interior category, and Adam Horwanko's Golf MK1 won the Best Wheels category.
Moreover, the organisers recognised five cars in the Old School and New Wave categories. Among those produced before the 1990s, the BMW E38 by Filip Olejarz, Lexus Dawid Mazan, Opel Cadet by Rafał Kurda, BMW E23 by Dawid Bujalski, Mercedes W115 by Mateusz Burczak were appreciated.
The New Wave awards were presented for Audi A7 by Wojciech Malinowski, Audi A8 by Krzysztof Pisarski, Lexus IS350 by Dawid Zdziebczok, Audi S4 B8 by Paweł Strzemiński and Nissan Skyline by Stanisław Roczniak.
