The National Finals of Young Agricultural Producers Olympics - the winners announced
This year's contest held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Czesław Siekierski, attracted a record number of participants. The competition began with local eliminations, where young farmers and students of agricultural schools had to demonstrate extensive knowledge of plant production, animal breeding, agricultural mechanisation and environmental protection. The next stage—the Provincial Finals—selected the best of the best, who then competed in the National Semi-Finals at the Świętokrzyskie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Modliszewice. They were treated to a theoretical and practical part – from recognising plant species to assessing agricultural machinery and analysing farm strategies.
The top 10 participants advanced to the national final, where they competed in front of a large audience for the title of Young Agricultural Producer of the Year. The high level of competition and the impressive knowledge of the finalists delighted the jury and the guests. The winner proved that farming is not only about hard work, but also about deep knowledge, innovation and strategic thinking.
This year's Olympiad is also an opportunity to exchange experiences, make new acquaintances and acquire practical knowledge. Participants had the opportunity to broaden their horizons in the field of renewable energy sources, biogas, climate change and agricultural economics.
The 30th International Fair of Agricultural Techniques AGROTECH continues until 16 March 2025.
