The OFF Fashion competition returns to Kielce under the "Multi-Kulti" banner
Off Fashion gives a clear signal: there are no better or worse cultures; this year, the creators drew inspiration tapping both into folk traditions and African and American art. This year's festival proves that Kielce is an open city that pays attention to heritage and draws inspiration from various cultures.
On Friday, 19 July, from 2 p.m. until late evening, 100 designers, including: from Poland, Great Britain, Ukraine, Germany and Rwanda, will present competition costumes on the outdoor stage at the Kielce Culture Centre. 80 models will take part in the show; the semi-final is when the jury panel will select 25 designers who will present their creations during the Final Gala.
These are more attractions of the upcoming weekend. Many accompanying events will also be staged in front of the Kielce Culture Centre. The agenda incudes a neighbourhood wardrobe swap, a garage sale. Anyone interested can try walking in a celebrity's shoes in a futuristic 360 content cage photo booth. Additionally, the lower foyer of the Wiesław Gołas Grand Stage houses an exhibition by one of the key partners of the event: the Play Sustain foundation. Visitors can see the journey of cotton, from a seed, a plant, through a T-shirt, to the possibility of recycling the material which have once been used.
The music by Miss God, an actress, director, singer, composer and clothing designer accompanies the event. Four special shows are also planned during the Final Gala.
