The Polish Union of the Cosmetics Industry supports SLAVIC B2Beauty in the second unveiling of the show. Already at the first trade fair, Lidia Lukowska, director of Communication and Organisation Development, pointed out that contracting expo in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry show - the Slavic B2Beauty turned out to be the one-of-a-kind event of this kind in the country. The Slavic beauty products portfolio; body, hair and nail care products decomplemented with dietary supplements and pharmaceuticals, were presented to 60 buyers from all corners of the world,
The Polish Union of the Cosmetics Industry turned out to be extremely helpful in organising and implementing the first edition. For years, the PZPK union has protected the rights and represented the interests of its members in the domestic and foreign arena. As the only organisation in Poland, PZPK represents and supports the strategic goals of entrepreneurs exclusively in the cosmetics industry. Since 2002, PZPK has been an active voice of the sector in the law-making process, has effectively cooperated with Polish and European administration and institutions. Together with member companies, it develops and implements solutions that lead to the development of the Polish cosmetics market, which is ranked fifth in the European Union. The Union belongs to Cosmetics Europe - a European industry organisation, and to the Lewiatan Confederation - the most influential employers' organisation in Poland.
PZKP is also involved in building the sector's enhancement abroad as it supports the promotion of exports of Polish cosmetics and creates a network of partnerships. Together with partners, it works towards the removal of barriers to international trade. The organisation also serves as a platform for exchanging experiences, educates and trains companies, improves the quality of the whole sector. The association brings together over 240 companies, including producers and distributors of cosmetics, laboratories, consulting companies and educational centres, industry-related partners - suppliers of packaging and raw materials. PZPK brings together and works for both startups, small, family-owned enterprises, as well as large international corporations and the largest Polish cosmetics companies. They all work together with mutual respect and trust while maintaining all the rules of competition.
For 16 years, the Union has been running a social project - the More Beautiful Life Foundation, which supports oncological patients in Poland.
The PZPK is mission to care for the competitiveness and development of the cosmetics sector in Poland through lobbying, education and industry integration.
The institution's activities include:
- striving to take into account the demands of entrepreneurs at all stages of the legislative process
- care of the competitiveness and development of the cosmetics sector in Poland
- helping producers by bringing benefits to consumers who receive safe and effective cosmetic products
- conducts a dialogue with the Polish government and the institutions of the European Union
- coordinates the industry's position on key issues: science, innovation, security
- makes effective efforts to create better industry law for Polish entrepreneurs
- creates and promotes good practices in the cosmetics sector
- knowledge sharing by understandable and easy-to read technical and legislative information
- care of the image of the cosmetics industry by showing it credible and socially responsible aspects
- help in making business decisions on the Polish and EU market
Experts from the Polish Union of the Cosmetics Industry will be present during the second edition of Slavic B2Beauty, held on June 13 and 14, 2023 at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre
