The second SACROMEDIA edition

SACROMEDIA - workshops for parish newspapers' editorial teams

30 members of editorial teams of parish and church newspapers from all over Poland participated in in the second workshop edition held within the scope of the Targi Kielce's SACROEXPO exhibition.

This year's participants took part in the five-hour panels on information journalism - they learnt how to write objectively. The workshop was chaired by Wojciech Staruchowicz - the journalist and editor who works for the the "Puls Biznesu" newspaper. This was followed with the panel chaired by the well-known journalist of Kielce - Marcin Sztandera. The panel was held under the banter of "What a journalist cannot do" and focussed on the ability of drawing lines in the work of the journalist. Agata Rajwa of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchins' press office was telling how to prepare and run a press conference.

The participants also had the opportunity to watch the "I am" film and then meet the film director Maciej Bodasiński. This was followed with the lecture delivered by editor in chief of the "Love Each Other" magazine, Fr. Mieczyslaw Piotrowski TChr.

The workshop participants also took part in the competition designed to coin up a slogan to promote the SACROEXPO trade show. The jury panel, having analysed all proposals, selected the three winners:
1st Place - "The spirit of the time in the life of the church" - Father Tomasz Brozek from the editorial team of "Głos Jadwigi"
2nd place - "SACROEXPO - the Targi Kielce loudest" - Beata Kaczmarczyk, representing the Saint Jacke Association Bulletin.
Third place winner was Mr. Andrej Ziolkowski of the "In the Rays of Mercy" editorial team who came up with with the slogan - "SACROEXPO - see God in things. "Congratulation to the prize winners!
