The students tried their hand at the police fitness test
Starting from a supine position, around-cones race, front and back rolls, carrying a 28 kg dummy, throwing medicine balls, weighted crunches and a shuttle run - all done correctly and in the shortest possible time. As the instructors emphasised, these are precisely the exercises that people who dream of working in the police must perform.
The actual test has more elements, but today's meeting with young people organised by the Police Headquarters was intended to familiarise young people with the recruitment process, not to select future officers. Interestingly, the obstacle course and the time standards converted into points are the same for both women and men.
