The unique, jubilee "At the Fireplace" Festival goes down in history!
Flamboyant and festive atmosphere filled the Targi Kielce Congress Centre on the jubilee unveiling Polish National Festival of Poetic and Tourist Song "At the Fireplace".
Bands from all over Poland took part in the Competition Review, and their performances were assessed by the Jury Panel. Among the laureates, there are: Oskar Sylwester Juryś for the interpretation of the texts, the Szpetni Duo for the artistic expression of the presentation, the "TRIO to the QUARTET" band for the punch line that is not there and the "Z Tylu Chmur" band for inspiration with different styles.
The competition winners are: the "Suma Pragnień" band and "Falochron" band - third place, Katarzyna KAHER Zawadzka - second place and Radek Partyka and team Zielony Szlak, who took first place. The Grand Prix of the 10th National Festival of Poetic and Tourism Songs "At the Fireplace" and the audience award went to: Martyna Majchrzak and Andrzej Wawrzyniak. The special award of the Student Song Magazine "Mikroklimat" went to Andrzej Wawrzyniak.
Katarzyna Kaher Zawadzka was nominated to participate in the 51st National Tourist Student Song Review "Bazuna" 2023.
The invitation to participate in the 56th National Tourist Student Song Exchange 2023 in Szklarska Poręba and the nomination to participate in the "Signposts - poetry, shanties, blues 2023" Festival in Krzyż Wielkopolski were presented to Martyna Majchrzak and Andrzej Wawrzyniak.
Invitation for a three-day stay at Zajazd Pod Caryńska was presented to: Martyna Majchrzak and Andrzej Wawrzyniak, the "From the clouds" band and the "Załoga Szklanego Jasia" band.
In addition to competition performances, there are ample Festival Stars performing on the stage; the 4RAZYWROKU band, Piotr Kędziora, the Brotherhood of Eternal Inspiration, the Grzane Wino band and the Lublin Federation of Bards.
The "At the Fireplace" Festival, at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre also hosted the Christmas Fair, the Vinyl and CD Exchange and the presentation of the festival participants' expo stands under the banner of "What I Play Where I live". The event guests were offered the chance to try regional and natural products, as well as buy handmade jewellery, Christmas decorations and collectable vinyl records. The event featured: Notoszok - a producer of natural juices full of vitamins and minerals, Pasiak Świętokrzyski with paintings inspired by the regional motif of the Świętokrzyskie striped belts, Stained Glass Studio offering unique stained glass windows made with various techniques, Korytków Country Housewives Club and Kielce County Country Housewives Club with a delicious offer of natural products, Drewno from Opały - an artistic carpentry workshop, the Dobra Pszczoła Apiary with natural honeys, Las Lampas with unique lamps made of various tree species and Black Market Coffee & Records with an impressive collection of vinyl records.
