The winners of the 19th edition of the "Child-Friendly World" Competition have been announced!

Nearly 130 unique games, toys, books, places and initiatives which best influence the cognitive, social and emotional development of children were awarded and distinguished in the Competition

After quite intense proceedings, 15 experts' jury panel of the "Child-friendly World" competition selected this year's edition winners. Nearly 130 unique games, toys, books, places and initiatives that best influence the cognitive, social and emotional development of children were awarded and distinguished in the Competition. The awards presentation gala will be held in May or June, in a format allowable because of the pandemic.

Over 70 companies, museums and theatres participated in this year's "Child-Friendly World" Competition's edition. All entries related to initiatives whose common denominator was to educate, support the development and bring joy to the youngest.  The jury panel assessed the applicants, products and their functionalities were given a thorough appraisal.

The "Child-Friendly World" competition was established nearly 20 years ago; the competition objective is to award and reward products, places, initiatives and portals as well as toys, books and games for children; those which offer top-quality and significantly affect the child's cognitive, social and emotional development. The winners enjoy the right to use the KOPD and the Competition logo. The awards presentation gala will be held in June.

The unique composition of the "Child-Friendly World" Competition’s Jury Panel includes: a developmental psychologist Dorota Zawadzka, a child psychologist Aleksandra Piotrowska, a psychologist and Chairperson of KOPD Mirosława Kątna, a psychologist and educator Magdalena Dulęba-Basior, a competition organiser Magdalena Stachowiak-Alexandrowicz, Professor  Mieczysław Wasilewski, Anna Wakulak, Katarzyna Stoparczyk, Anna Oka, Dorota Mazurek, Justyna Marszałkowska-Jakubik, Magdalena Łazarkiewicz,  Dorota Karbowska-Zawadzka, Artur Barcis and Małgorzata Janina Berwid.

The nineteenth edition of the Competition was held under the honorary patronage of the Ombudsman and the former First Lady, Jolanta Kwaśniewska. Aleksandra and Michał Żebrowscy and Mrs. Barbara Kurdej-Szatan have been appointed the ambassadors of this edition. The annual Competition is possible owing to cooperation with companies and portals, and among them: Sanofi, Barlinek, Procontent, Akon Marketing Partners, Kids Trade Show, Kids’ Time, Polskie Stowarzyszenie Branży Zabawek i Artykułów Dziecięcych oraz Książki Wyborcza, miastodzieci.pl, Zabawkator, Branża Dziecięca, Rynek Zabawek, Świat Zabawek, Magazyn Mama, Radio Dla Ciebie, czasdzieci.pl, qlturka.pl.
