This year’s Targi Kielce Jazz Festival „Memorial to Miles” features the top-star - Kenny Garret
Targi Kielce Jazz Festival „Memorial to Miles” starts this weekend at the Kielce Culture Centre; one of the event greatest features will be Kenny Garrett - the American saxophone player and his hard-bop and post-bop style. The artist has contributed to over 50 long-plays and performed with the A-list stars, including: Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard or Brian Blade. Accompanied by the band, Garett will be playing the compositions of his “Seeds from the Underground” album complemented with brand new themes. Not only will the performance show the artist’s amazing virtuoso and skill, but also his extraordinary musical imagination and jazz vision.
The famous musician will be performing on KCK stage on 29th September at 8 p.m. Admission free; for more information call in KCK box offices or call 41 344 90 54.
