VELUX has been actively promoting modern and energy-efficient construction for many years; - In our opinion, we need solutions that will not only optimise the energy efficiency of buildings but also take into account people's health and well-being. The VELUX Group has been in Poland since 1990. The company has actively participated in the economic and social life of the country, including the life of local communities,  VELUX FOUNDATIONS in Poland has so far provided over PLN 140 million to support social organisations which implement projects preventing from the social exclusion of children and adolescents as well as the development of vocational education. VELUX's activity is rooted in social responsibility, the concept and areas of which are presented in regularly published ESG reports.

Velux employs about 5090 people, most of them in four plants located in Gniezno (two factories), Namysłów and Wędków near Tczew, and Stary Laskowiec.  The company keeps developing and investing in new technologies, ensuring the highest standards of quality, occupational safety and environmental protection. The 2020-2021 period is when the VELUX Group and its sister companies invested approximately PLN 286 million in Poland in the modernisation and development of factories.
