VIVE TARGI KIELCE wins as many as 7 statues of Świętokrzyskie Sport Stars Popularity Contest

The prices go to the team members, the coach but also to the Club itself

Marcus Cleverlywas one of the laureate team members of VIVE TARGI KIELCE. He received the statue form Andrzej Sygut, deputy Mayor of Kielce

The list of the 10 finalists selected in the Sport Popularity Contest by football fans’ SMS and coupon votes contained as many as 5 names of Vive Targi Kielce team members. Mateusz Jachlewski, the winger of our team was ranked number 9. Rastko Stojković, who joined the Serbian team at the World Championship in Sweden now, was ranked number 8. Rank number seven belongs to Tomasz Rosiński, the playmaker in the team of Polish Champions. Marcus Cleverlywas listed on the fourth position of the laureate list and Mariusz Jurasik, the last year’s winner came second this year with the total score of over 90 thousand votes.

The only team member present at the gala ceremony was Marcus Cleverly. All other team members are either at the World Championship in Sweden or, as it is the cease or Jachlewski, at a tournament in Poland.
- Tank you very much – said Marcus Cleverly on receiving the prize. He said this in Polish and added after a while - I am still learning Polish. I have already learnt a lot but next year I will be able to say more. The charming Dane received thunderous applause. Other prizes were collected by the team members’ wives Sylwia Jurasik and Marta Rosińska and by the Club deputy presidents Marian Urban and Tadeusz Dziedzic.

Bogdan Wenta, who is also Polish national representation leader hoping to win Championship in Sweden was voted the most popular coach. On behalf of the coach prize was collected by Wenta’s wife, Iwona.

The sports club Vive Targi Kielce was honoured with a special mention “Świętokrzyskie Sports Ambassador” which was collected by the Club president Bartus Servaas.
