Product launches and technological innovations

The two-day meeting of the municipal industry at Targi Kielce abounds with innovative solutions for waste processing, segregation and transport. The exhibition includes solutions such as intelligent solar-powered waste bins, automatic and electric garbage trucks, waste management platforms and modern machines such as zero-emission sweepers and telescopic loaders.

Visitors to Ekotech can take part in many industry meetings and conferences where trends and challenges in the waste sector are discussed. The International Waste Management Forum on trends and challenges facing the waste sector is organised for the tenth time, it has become the expo tradition. On the initiative of the Polish Association of Vehicle Disassembly Stations Eko-Auto and the Ekolog company, two meetings "Ecologist for companies" and "Ecologist for local governments" are held within the scope of the Ekotech Expo. The issue of abandoned cars on city streets and environmental audits are to be discussed. For the first time the expo welcomes specialists’ talk about the challenges related to the introduction of a deposit system in Poland and the challenges related to the recycling of photovoltaic panels and lithium-ion batteries.  There will also be meetings devoted to the latest trends and regulations in the vehicle recycling industry, spectacular machine demonstrations in the outdoor exhibition grounds, as well as competitions with prizes for industry visitors. Ekotech is also an opportunity to take advantage of free experts’ advice on obtaining European funds for the municipal industry. For the first time, a national expo stand of Ukrainian companies will be a part of Ekotech;  the mayors of Ukrainian cities and municipalities - Zviahel, Korostien, Poltava, Uman, Boyarka and Zhytomyr are ready to meet the expo participants. The featured guests will meet Kielce city authorities and local business representatives.

"Eco - no frills attached" podcast with the "Waste Lady" at the Ekotech 

The guest of this year's expo - "Waste Lady", i.e. Monika Michalska - an expert in waste processing technology  who has been working in the waste management sector for over 10 years. She is a graduate of AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, majoring in Environmental Engineering with a specialisation in renewable energy. She also completed postgraduate studies in quality management at the Vistula Academy of Finance and Business and the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology. After hours, she shares her passion and knowledge about the waste industry on social media under the title "Waste Lady";  Ekotech is her presentation of the "Eko - no frills attached" podcast recorded during the expo.
