Students of uniformed classes commenced the new school year with an assembly attended by the Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. The inauguration at Targi Kielce was held within the scope of the International Defence Industry Exhibition. The ceremony was attended by several hundred young people who find their future in the army. There are almost 30,000 of uniformed classes students in Poland in 1,200 classes. Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz addressed the students during his address

- Thank you that, in addition to your duty to acquire knowledge and achieve further stages on the educational ladder, you also take on another challenge: you put on the cadet uniform. We are in difficult times - said the Deputy Prime Minister during the roll call, also thanking parents and teachers.

¼ of students who complete their education in uniformed classes later join the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.

- Your presence is a pledge of allegiance to the Republic of Poland and all its ideals - concluded Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz.

The ceremony was the occasion to recognise the best students and present them with accolades for exemplary performance of their cadet duties. This milieu included:  Wiktor Stawiarski, Agata Rak, Olaf Żukowski, Igor Rusek, Weronika Poprawska, Adriana Stajniak, Jakub Wasiński, Oliwia Wyderska, Michał Sienniak and Zuzanna Szczerbińska.

The Polish Army Knowledge Tournament winners were also awarded;  "Military Premier League" includes  Mikołaj Sapa, Gabriela Iskra and Emilia Walczyk.

A letter of congratulations was presented to the principal of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński Secondary School in Staszów, Łukasz Bartłomiejczuk.

At the end of the ceremony, students of uniformed classes of the Non-Public Technical School of the Vocational Development Team in Kielce performed a parade drill show, and the Military Orchestra from Kraków, conducted by Major Dariusz Bylina, performed in a short concert.

The Mobile ISR Satellite Reconnaissance Platform is one of the most modern solutions in the world. It allows armed forces to make quick decisions based on real-time satellite data.
