27 march 2012
The STOM-TOOL, STOM-BLECH, WELDING, CONTROL-STOM and EXPO-SURFACE trade fairs pronounced open

Welding means materials, technologies, tools but also expertise. We a have all that at Targi Kielce exhibition stands – said Professor Jan Pilarczyk PhD Hab. Eng – the Director of the Institute

The five exhibitions devoted to metal sheet processing, metals, welding, surface protection and measurement technologies, which has brought together 550 companies from 26 countries.

This year’s edition of STOM is held in two different unveilings. This is the result of the avid interest this exhibition has generated among specialists, companies and trade fair visitors attending this specialised event. The STOM-BLECH is showcase for the state-of-the-art technologies and machines for metal sheet processing, the STOM-TOOL is the presentation forum for technologies, tools and machine tools as well as materials used in metal sheet processing. The fairs have been granted with the honorary patronage of the Minister of Economy. Methodological support is provided by the Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Department of Mechanics of the Technical University of Radom, and Kielce University of Technology.

The WEDLING is accompanied with presentations of modern welding technologies. The WELDING exhibition organised in conjunction with the Welding Technology Institute in Gliwice and the Polish Welding Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw - I have been observing the trade fair development for years and every year I can notice something new. Polish welding sector is going strong; you can see that despite the crisis. And it comes as no surprise. All we can see around us- the halls, the entrance terminal, civil engineering constructions – is based upon welding. Welding means materials, technologies, tools but also expertise. We a have all that at Targi Kielce exhibition stands –said Professor Jan Pilarczyk PhD Hab. Eng – the Director of the Institute upon the exhibition opening.

The EXPO-SURFACE trade fair is organised in cooperation with the specialists from the Chair of Chemistry and Metal Corrosion of the Foundry Department at the AGH University of Technology. The CONTROL-STOM trade fair bring together the companies which specialise in measurement and control equipment, research instruments and laboratory equipment and fittings.

The exhibition stands feature dozens of novelties.
