Future Private Labels Expo is Poland’s only event solely focussed on private labels

Producers from Poland and abroad will once again present a diverse range of products for the private label market at the Targi Kielce. Only here can they meet representatives of Polish and international retail chains from Europe, Asia, and North Africa in one place and at one time, looking for unique private label products.

future-private-labels Consumers more often opt for private labels, and this trend will not change in the coming years, as emphasised in industry reports. According to the "Behaviour Change" research project by Consumer Panel Services GfK, the private label sector’s value has increased by 19% year on year basis in the Polish market;  in 2023 the value exceeded PLN 50 billion. The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) 2024 report indicates that the increase in European private label sales reached 13% in 2023, significantly exceeding the sales growth in national brands, which amounted to 6%.

Large retail chains in the Merchant Zone

Retail chains, service enterprises are increasingly responding to consumer preferences. The latter segment encompasses refuelling stations and cinemas. - We see the involvement of both in preparing the private label products the consumer demand; this is visible when arranging the Private Labels Expo. The last edition proved that specific conversations between producers and buyers result in inspiring businesses, and thus the customer receives a new high-quality product  at an affordable price - says Jakub Nogaj, manager of the Future Private Labels project at Targi Kielce. - Almost all exhibitors and over 40 representatives of Polish and foreign retail chains declared their participation in the 2024 event, having been satisfied with the last year’s expo. The Middle Eastern Lulu Group International, European Intermarché, Bricomarché and Auchan, and Stokrotka, which operate on the Polish market, Chorten and Gram Market, have confirmed their presence. Specialists have already registered for the next edition of the merchants zone- Dino Polska, Lewiatan , Vollmart, Społem – COOP and Eurocash Group are already on board. Representatives of other companies keep registering.  

A variety of private label products showcased in Kielce  

future-private-labels-2 The only expo of this type in Poland, the show 100 percent dedicated to private labels (6 and 7 November at Targi Kielce) brings together exhibitors who present a variety of products. The portfolio includes food products - fresh, frozen and ready-to-feed meals, cold meats, drinks - including alcoholic ones, snacks and sweets, dairy products, as well as cosmetics, hygiene products, household chemicals, batteries. Of course, Żur Piskorek will offer Polish sour rye soup, the Sądecki Bartnik apiary farm puts forward honey and bee products, AleBrowar tmepts with beers, Alpan  is here with dairy products. The exhibitors list already include Aldef Global, specialising in pest control products, Rocket Poland - a distributor of batteries and light bulbs, the German Nölken Hygiene Products offering hygiene and care products, and the Croatian producer of lip balms VIMI. Czech enterprises will prepare the national presentation. The exhibitors list keeps growing and registrations are being processed.

 - Each exhibitor and buyer receives a meeting schedule for both days of the expo; event participants appreciate this contract form and increases the its effectiveness. Thanks to previously arranged meetings, buyers learn about products and offers that are in line with their profiles, explained Jakub Nogaj.

Discussions on the private labels development and the meat industry at Targi Kielce

The Private Labels Forum organised by Ewa - Bis and its president, Marek Marc, in conjunction with MSL Consulting with its CEO, Michał Sadecki, will gather outstanding industry experts. 6 November at Targi Kielce is the discussion time on the most important private label development topics. The debate will be moderated by a valued expert, trade and consumer products sector specialist, Robert Krzak.

Marek Bielski, a monthly publisher of the "Rzeźnik polski" (Gemini Group), aranges the Round Table of the Meat Industry and Modern Trade. The event will bring together producers and representatives of chains dealing with meat products. The publishing house will also run the Taste of Quality® competition, which attracts meat industry entrepreneurs.

XPand with North African exhibitors and market expertise

The new event will accompany the Private Label Expo (6 and 7 November 2024) - XPand  is the first time event. Targi Kielce will feature entrepreneurs from North Africa exhibiting at the expo centre. Several dozen companies have announced their presence, mainly those from Tunisia and Morocco. Buyers and visitors can learn about offers showcased by producers of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food products and even textiles. These entrepreneurs look for cooperation partners in Europe. Experts will talk about how to enter and operate the North African market - specialised panels by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and representatives of Polish enterprises that have entered the market serve the purpose of information dissemination.
