Dynamic 9D LADAR from API Metrology
API Metrology’s Dynamic 9D LADAR is a super-fast and accurate non-contact measurement system that collects data in real time. Designed for automated in-line measurement where it can be mounted on a robot, rail or gantry CMM.
The LADAR has a built-in scale reference system, a sampling rate of more than 20,000 points per second, and an intelligent 8mp iVision camera system that helps identify parts for programmable automatic feature and GD & T measurement, revealing the clarity of holes and other geometric details at the probe level.
It provides X, Y, Z, I, J, K data for each generated point with the addition of R, G, B data, allowing the scanned data to be imaged directly onto the captured camera image. This unique feature allows you to display features with clear background colour contrast, surface vectors, surface roughness.

CMM ALTERA is the latest generation of ceramic coordinate measuring machines, designed to meet the highest expectations and increasing needs of customers. Our product range includes portal CMM’s, laboratory CMM’s, column CMM’s and large volume CMM’s. We offer complete solutions designed to maintain long-lasting accuracy, stability and smoothness of measurements, in ranges from 700×500 to machines several meters long.

Ceramic portal and quill provide a thermally stable and ultra-rigid structure for long-term accuracy and structural stability without deformation over time.
Unique air bearings allow for smaller air gaps, providing greater rigidity than standard air bearings, resulting in a stiffer structure and therefore measurement accuracy.
The friction drive system ensures smooth and repeatable movements with a negligible hysteresis error.
All models can be retrofitted with AVM’s active vibration damping system – providing optimum performance in areas exposed to high levels of low-frequency vibration.
Renishaw’s high-resolution (0.05um) floating scales and TONiC-series encoders ensure repeatability and measurement accuracy, and are additionally dirt – resistant.

HyperScan Plus, adopts blue laser technology with multiple modes . The standard scanning mode has 34 blue laser lines with a scanning speed of up to 2,900,000 pts/s, greatly improving scanning performance. The ultra-fine scanning mode has 7 parallel blue laser lines that feature the surface details of an object. HyperScan is ideal for measuring large-size objects and for inline measurements.
