ANDROPOL S.A. is a leading manufacturer of fabrics in Europe. We offer a range of products used for a variety of utility purposes.
ANDROPOL S.A. production boasts multi-purpose fabrics used as an outer layer of special clothing for firefighters. We use aramid and PBI fibres. We cooperate with DuPont, using the Nomex® Tough, INVISTA (Cordura). ANDROPOL S.A. fabrics meet EN 469 and EN 15614 standards after 25 washing cycles.
We also manufacture other protective fabrics: anti-electrostatic (compliant with the EN 1149-5 standard), acid- and lye-resistant (EN 13034), designed for rental clothing. We manufacture fabrics used for helmets, bulletproof vests, and ballistic shields. We use DuPont KEVLAR fibres. We offer ready-made PRE-PREG.

CORDURA® fabrics
Thanks to the raw material used, these fabrics are characterized by very high physical and mechanical parameters. The level of parameters of tearing strength, and above all abrasion resistance, is unattainable for other blends of synthetic fibers and cotton. The fabric is dedicated to very durable protective clothing, including clothes for uniformed services. The confirmation of the high quality of the assortment of this type of fabrics is the NOTICE OF APPROVAL document awarding ANDROPOL S.A. the right to use the CORDURA® mark.

For production, we use Nomex aramid fibers from DuPont and PBI from PBI Performance Products Inc. As the basis of many flame retardant fabric blends, these fibers enhance their performance by combining flame resistance and thermal protection with the highest levels of comfort, durability and protection. Thanks to these unique properties, the fiber is used in specialized clothing for firefighters and rescuers, industrial workers and the army.

These fabrics are characterized by high utility properties. The structure of the fabrics, thanks to the yarns used, guarantees very high air permeability, which ensures high comfort of use. For their production, we use polyester-cotton and cordura-cotton blends.

The modern flexible XLANCE® fiber is also resistant to heat, UVA and UVB radiation, aggressive chemicals, oxidation, and enzymes.
The sensory elasticity improves comfort and ease of use, even after repeated industrial washing and tumble drying.
