Description
Prec-Odlew sp. z o.o. was established in the Skawina Economic Zone in 1997. We are a Polish manufacturer of high-quality materials for the foundry industry (coatings, binders for molding sands, adhesives, release agents) and for other industries related to metallurgical processes (forges, melting plants, plastic processing plants). Cooperation begins with getting to know the customer's expectations and technological and production challenges, and then work on a solution in our Research and Development Center. After positive tests in real conditions at our industrial partner's, the implementation phase in our production comes. We manufacture on our own production lines products such as:
Water and alcohol protective coatings and special coatings, which we supply depending on the needs in various packaging options: from barrels to steel containers and for various applications: painting, dipping, pouring and spraying.
Adhesive for casting molds and cores, which you can use in convenient plastic dispenser bags, as well as adhesive for joining metal and ceramic surfaces and for sealing.
Powdered additives for molding sands and drossing fluxes for molten metal, which you can use in practical paper bags.
We cooperate with respected companies from Europe - ebalta (Germany) and A.Cesana (Italy), distributing their products in Poland: CNC blocks and boards, materials for non-ferrous metal foundries as well.

SANDEX
SANDEX
SANDEX is a self-curing adhesive on a ceramic base with a water glass-based binder, without organic additives,
intended for cold bonding of cores and parts of foundry molds. The binding process of SANDEX adhesive takes
place at ambient temperature. SANDEX adhesive has very good strength properties. It is used to connect and repair
cores and mold elements made of self-hardening resin molding sands and cores made using the hot box and cold box
methods. It is also relevant for large molds and cores.
SANDEX adhesive
• is used for bonding cores and mold parts made in resin molding sands and cores in hot box and cold box process
• is relevant to large molds and cores
• can be applied with a gun
Density 20°C (according to PN-EN ISO 2811-1) 1.60 - 2.00 [g/cm3]
Color pink
apply a thin layer on the surface of the mold or core, immediately connect, if necessary, squeeze until the bonding
process begins
• the setting time counted from the end of the bonding process is about 1 - 2 hours, after 24 hours it reaches
maximum strengths
• the bonding process can be accelerated by heating
The product is packed in a foil sleeve (1 kg) and collective container (40 kg).
The product should be stored in tightly closed packages, in a dry room at a temperature of 5°C to 25°C.
The product stored in accordance with specified conditions has a warranty period of up to 6 months from the date
of production.

PROTECTA PAOK
PROTECTA PAOK
Protecta PAOK is an alcohol protective coating based on carefully selected ceramic materials such as olivine,
graphite and iron oxide, intended for use in the production of small and medium-sized iron castings. The liquid carrier
of this coating is a mixture of alcohols. Protecta PAOK protects against the penetration of the liquid alloy into the
porous material of the mold and core and reduces the occurrence of defects such as pinholes and veins.
Density 20°C (according to PN-EN ISO 2811-1) 1.30 - 1.70 [g/cm3]

the product is ready for use after thorough mixing
• the coating should be applied in thin layers (before applying the next layer, wait until the coating is matted)
• molds and cores should be set aside until the diluent is completely removed from the applied coating and/or
should be burned out
