Fundacja Gotowi.org Since 2014 has been operating for building social resilience on disasters. Be ready, never give up! This slogan of Gotowi.org foundation is for social campaign about being prepared for any disaster, with following tools: Portal www.gotowi.org with compendium knowledge about all disasters and how to be prepare on them, Readiness Workshops, Emergency Backpack 17, Social media. Gotowi.org campaign plays key role in Disaster Risk Reduction. In 2020 and 2021 organized International DRRDay for the first time in Poland - about 1.2 million young people took part. From 2021, in response to the needs of schools and local governments in Poland, we realize the Readiness Workshop program. Up today more then 5000 people took part of trainings. We are ready to make next workshops in the next community and schools. At the end of 2021 we presented a proven and tested our work, Emergency Backpack 17. In May 2022 Gotowi.org, the only one from Poland, was invited to Global Platform UNDRR, Indonesia, Bali – our suggestion „From Knowladge to Action” is implemented in 2023 by UNDRR & Munich Re. In 2023 – our membership of the Stakeholder Engagement Mechanism, UNDRR – working for UN General Assembly mid-term review of Sendai 2015. In 2023 - The Polish Ministry of Development appreciated the Emergency Backpack 17 and invited it to DIHAD 2023 – the biggest humanitarian aid conference and exhibition, as the part of the First Polish Pavilion. Emergency Backpack 17 standards and capacity are as follow: corporate governance: based on national and EU law, IFSR standards: professional Accounting standards, SAGE system, UN compliance: Sendai 2015 Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, Quality standards: we control the quality of each product under established standards, capacity: up to 5k pcs/month, delivery to each place around the world.
