The International businesses spring from here! Slavic B2Beauty in Targi Kielce - the show brought together entrepreneurs from nearly 30 countries!
From China, through the United Kingdom, to Kenya. Buyers from three continents came to Targi Kielce to choose from the offers of producers from the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries from Poland and five countries. Two days of Slavic B2Beauty - contracting expo abounded with over a thousand business meetings. The first business schemes already took shape during the event. - Many of the products are very interesting. We are exploring opportunities to introduce them to our market - said Eason Yahn Yangh of Yifei's Shanghai enterprise.
Contracting events for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry - Slavic B2Beauty; the only event of this kind in the country. This year's show was held on 13 and 14 June; Slavic B2Beauty means business meetings arranged at the Targi Kielce Congress Centre.
The format meets our needs. We had a full schedule, and two days were packed with talks. We saw several dozen entrepreneurs from around the world. We had the chance to present them the products we want to export. This possibility is valuable to us - emphasised Krzysztof Kępa, export manager from the Polish company Ava - Laboratorium.
Producers from Poland and five countries hosted at Slavic B2Beauty
Most of the exhibitors of the second Slavic B2Beauty contracting show were Polish companies; Targi Kielce Congress Cent was the presentation arena for offers presented by respected brands. Many of them already export and develop foreign sales. Top care and make-up cosmetics were offered by Dr Irena Eris, Eveline, Cosmetics, Inglot, YOPE, Oceanic, Pierre Rene, Senelle. Products for special purposes were offered by SunewMed+, Elfa Pharm Polska with the So!flow range, and Apis Natural Cosmetics®. A wide selection of products was offered by La Rive, Miraculum, Stara Mydlarnia, Ozonea, Farmona, Słowianka, IOSSI, Tenex, Grace Full, La-Le, Coloris, Melaleuca, Slavica, Inter Group. Products presented by the Busko-Zdrój health resort in Świętokrzyskie, Lyofarm, Podopharm and Prosper also generated avid interest. HEINZ-GLAS Działdowo offered glass bottles and vials, and HEINZ-PLASTICS Polska put its plastic packaging on offer.
In addition to Polish brands, buyers had the chance to become familiar with cosmetics and chemical agents from Ukraine - "2K", Bulgaria - Lidera Laboratories, the Czech Republic - Palacio Hemp CBD Cosmetics, Italy - Sapone Di Un Tempo, and even Singapore - Herbal Pharm. Opportunities for cooperation were also offered by representatives of the Turkish Beauty Istanbul expo.
- Kenya, Kyrgyzstan and Georgia are new target markets for us today; entrepreneurs from these countries visited our expo stand, we had well-rofiled talks. They were particularly interested in perfumes, but they are also interested in creams. The relations promise to bloom - said Elżbieta Oleksiewicz-Pilucik, export manager from the Polish company Miraculum.
Buyers from three continents in Targi Kielce
The show welcomed delegations of companies from the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Qatar (the Middle East representations), Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India and China (Asia), Kenya, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt - in Africa, Great Britain, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Romania and Spain (Europe). Representatives of retail chains, supermarkets and drugstores, manufacturers and wholesalers were at the show; a significant part of the delegates represented large companies, ranked among the leaders in the sale of cosmetics in their countries.
– Owing to participation in last year's contracting show, we are now in the process of introducing a new product to my company's offer. This made me come here again. It is worth coming here to find one, but the unique product - says Asher Cohen, importer of professional cosmetics lines from Israel, representative of Proshop.
Eason Yahn Yangh from the Yifei in Shanghai pointed out that he makes attempts to introduce many products from the exhibitors' offers to the Chinese market. – I was particularly interested in collagen from the LyoFarm company in Kielce – he admitted. Other Asian buyers were considering the possibility of selling products online during the event.
Contracting show in Kielce opens up new markets
– Each region is valuable and creates export prospects for Polish companies. It is essential for companies to get prepared to enter a given market, to build a strategy to make a permanent mark in the market. Each direction can become a new sales arena - said Stella Smejda, who supervises the cosmetics industry section in the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
Business meetings started at the firs Slavic B2Beauty in 2022, now several exhibitors established cooperation with companies from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Israel. – We can talk about the first results of these contracts; the show will bear fruit in three months. Concrete results come in half a year. Products introduction into the new market least nine months. That's how long the procedures take. A million meetings can be held, and one of them will turn out to be a a pivotal one, the most important - emphasises Krzysztof Kępa, export manager from the Polish company Ava - Laboratorium.
International cooperation for Slavic B2Beauty
The two days' event included over a thousand business talks in total. The Targi Kielce Congress Centre hosted entrepreneurs from almost 30 countries. Specialists from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency contributed towards the international nature of the event, they engaged many buyers from Asia, Europe and Africa and brought them to Kielce. In addition, they gave lectures and discussed the markets of Singapore, China and India in detail. They advised how producers should prepare to make a success and put their products on store shelves in these countries and how to sell via the Internet.
The participation of buyers and exhibitors is the result of the activities of the Investment and Development Department at the Marshal's Office of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and the Świętokrzyskie Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer, whose partner in this project was the Chamber of Industry and Commerce from Krakow. The Tunisian company Mida Group was also instrumental.
Indispensable knowledge for entrepreneurs offered at the contracting show
Anna Coban, the owner of Coban Business, Targi Kielce's Partner in the Turkish market, shared their knowledge during the event. The Expo patron discussed how to open a business in Poland and welcome foreign contractors. The Expert Zone offered advice abundance; Piotr Snopek, Sales and Marketing Director at Passport to Export, Paweł Bilczyński from Expandeco, a company supporting online stores in their activities on foreign markets, Tomasz Kwiatkowski from Taxology, a consulting company specialising in VAT compliance and taxes, and Piotr Drabik and Łukasz Pytlarz from Ebury Partners NV, which helps businesses speed up and simplify the international payment process. The producers also listened to the lecture "Plastic, my worst enemy, my best friend", featuring Małgorzata Chomiuk from Polpak. The session discussed the advantages and disadvantages of various types of packaging.
