5th Scientific Conference: Rapid Prototyping
3D&4D printing in engineering applications
The Conference is held on 19&20 September 2022 in Kielce
Ladies and Gentlemen!
We request the honour of your presence at the upcoming 5th edition of the Scientific Conferences held under the banner of Rapid Prototyping - 3D & 4D Printing in Engineering Applications. The Conference pivots around the smart use of additive technologies in manufacturing processes and the integration of production systems as part of the industrial revolution 4.0. The Kielce University of Technology organises the Conference in cooperation with Targi Kielce. The Rzeszów University of Technology organised the previous series of four conferences.
The Conference's thematic scope includes broadly defined research in the field of 3D/4D printing technology, with a particular focus on research on mechanical, metrological, tribological, simulation and economic properties. The ongoing industrial 4.0 revolution and issues of Smart INDUSTRY and Smart MANUFACTURING and LEAN Design Manufacturing and CAD/CAM/CAE software concepts will also be addressed. Furthermore, the Conference brings together both science and industry milieus and thus becomes an excellent platform for knowledge transfer.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in our decision to hold the Conference in a hybrid model; all those interested in the Conference may join the Conference in person in Kielce. Yet there is the possibility of being a part of the Conference in the on-line mode. In the event of more stringent sanitary restrictions, the Conference will be held only in the digital mode; all papers will be delivered during an on-line session. In addition, detailed information related to the conference organisation will be posted on the conference website and in electronic communication distributed among the participants.
Seminars and presentations will culminate in a discussion panel devoted to the current state of 3D 4D printing tools implementation and the prospects for additive technologies developed as part of the ongoing industrial transformation 4.0.
On-line participants may also make use of simultaneous interpretation into English
