8th International Scientific Conference: Rapid Prototyping

3D 4D PRINTING - Metrological Problems

The conference is held on 17-19 September 2025 in Kielce.

Ladies and Gentlemen

We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming,  8th International Scientific Conference on Rapid Prototyping - 3D & 4D Printing - Metrological Problems, combined with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Kielce University of Technology.

The conference revolves around the smart use of additive technologies in manufacturing processes and the integration of production systems as part of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.  This year's conference leitmotif focuses on metrological problems, an area of science that is particularly important in 3D printing. The conference is organised by the Department of Metrology and Non-conventional Manufacturing Methods at the Machine Construction Department of the Kielce University of Technology. Owing to its 8-year-long tradition, the conference enjoys the support of domestic and foreign research centres, the industrial community, making it an excellent platform for knowledge transfer.

The conference’s thematic scope includes broadly defined research in the field of 3D/4D printing technology, with a special focus on research on mechanical, metrological, tribological, simulation and economic properties. The ongoing industrial 4.0 revolution and issues of Smart INDUSTRY and Smart MANUFACTURING, as well as LEAN Design Manufacturing and CAD/CAM/CAE software concepts, will also be addressed.

All those interested in the conference may attend in person in Kielce. However, they can also participate online. Detailed information related to the conference organisation will be posted on the conference website and distributed electronically among the participants.

Seminars and presentations will culminate in a discussion panel devoted to the current state of 3D and 4D printing tool implementation and the prospects for additive technology development as part of the ongoing industrial transformation 4.0.
