Leaving 55 years behind in the Turkish automotive industry, Karsan continues manufacturing in its modern facilities in the commercial vehicle segment since its establishment for the world's prominent brands, including its own brand. The company has been engaged in commercial vehicle manufacturing since 1981, and its factory in Hasanağa, Bursa has the capacity to manufacture up to 19,870 vehicles a year on a single shift. The Hasanağa Plant, designed with the flexibility to manufacture all types of vehicles, ranging from automobiles to trucks and from minivans to busses, is located 30 km away from the Bursa city center, and occupies a closed area of 90 thousand and a total area of 200 thousand square meters.

Positioned as the only independent multi-brand vehicle manufacturer in Turkey for more than 50 years in the automotive industry, Karsan aims to develop derivative versions of the new and existing vehicles in order to extend its presence to all the segments of cargo and passenger transportation, in accordance with its vision of being one step ahead in the future of mobility. Continuing its efforts to develop "innovative products and services", "from conception into the market" in the public transportation segment and to launch these in the market, Karsan primarily aims to strengthen its Main Manufacturer/OEM business line.

Karsan manages the entire automotive value chain, from R&D to production, from marketing to sales and after-sales activities. Karsan produces Jest, Atak, and Star models under its own brand. Furthermore, within the scope of its collaboration with the world giant BMW, it realizes the production and sales of the 100% electric e-JEST and e-ATAK models, the Level 4 autonomous bus Autonomous e-ATAK model with the local technology company ADASTEC, and the 10-12-18 meter e-ATA buses. Karsan will manufacture Megane Sedan automobiles for the Renault brand by the end of 2022, and also manufactures 10-12-18 meter buses for Menarinibus currently. In addition to vehicle manufacturing, Karsan provides industrial services in its plant located in Bursa Organized Industrial Zone.
