Gidrán Armored Vehicles Ltd is a new player in the defence industry from Hungary. Located in Győr, Gidrán AV Ltd has just stepped up with a strong ambition to become a leading supplier of 4X4 tactical wheeled armored vehicles (TWAV) not only in Hungary but also in the international arena. Besides primarily supplying Gidrán 4x4 vehicles to the Hungarian Defence Forces, Gidrán AV Ltd is also dedicated to perform R&D activities as well as developing its own Hungarian/European supply chain. The Gidrán AV Ltd has been recently established by Nurol Makina Hungary Ltd (NMHU) and Rába Vehicle Ltd as a Joint Venture which is encouraged by the Hungarian Ministry of Defence.

NMHU is engaged in design, development, production and aftersales activities for 4x4 TWAV through local partners. NMHU is a subsidiary of a leading conglomerate, Nurol Holding in Turkiye with a strong track record in the defence industry.

Rába Automotive Holding Plc - together with its subsidiary, Rába Vehicle Ltd. - is one of the largest Hungarian companies in the automotive sector. The four strategic business units of the group of companies produce and supply axles, axle parts, steel structures, as well as automotive components for the global automotive market.

Gidrán 4x4 Tactical Wheeled Armored Vehicle

Gidrán 4x4 TWAV is a unique platform that has high protection and mobility, is developed to meet the operational requirements of military units and security forces in every region including rural and urban areas.

By its unique design and high payload capacity, different payloads can be integrated; therefore Gidrán 4x4 can be customized for various mission. With its powerful diesel engine, high torque capability and fully independent suspension system, the vehicle offers superior off-road performance. During the development of Gidrán 4x4, in addition to the superior protection features, user's operational & ergonomic requirements were also considered and an ideal platform was created for the personnel to operate more efficiently and more secure in the field.

NMS 4x4 Tactical Light Armored Vehicle

NMS 4X4 features a V-shaped monocoque body. Its advanced drive-train makes the vehicle fast and highly maneuverable at rural and urban areas.
Its low weight and high protection features provide for operational superiority and high resilience in the face of the most aggressive and asymmetric threats. The new generation NMS 4X4 is equipped with modular, composite armor, as such its level of protection can be customized. Furthermore, thanks to its higher speed and superior protection features compared to other vehicles in its segment, the vehicle is suitable as an escort in VIP convoys.
