Description
Łukasiewicz - Industrial Institute of Automation and Measurements PIAP is a Polish center of robotics and automation, existing since 1965. The Institute is the only one in Poland and the world's leading manufacturer of mobile robots for special applications that meet the highest quality standards in line with defense standards. The Institute's offer includes 6 mobile robots, special devices, CBRN accessories, pyrotechnic disruptors and mobile X-Ray systems. PIAP provides comprehensive solutions for the army, police, border guards, fire brigades and other services responsible for security, crisis management and civil protection in Poland and in 27 countries around the world. The Institute's headquarters is in Warsaw, and its branch office is in Toruń. The Łukasiewicz – PIAP team consists of nearly 250 people working in interdisciplinary teams.
