ODLEWNIA RAFAMET Sp. z o.o. Foundry is a manufacturer of grey, ductile and alloy cast iron castings. We specialise in the unit and small batch production of heavy castings weighing up to 40 tons. Castings are manufactured in flasks and moulding pits, with max. dimension of 20 000 x 4 000 x 2 000 mm and 14 000 x 5 500 x 2 500 mm utilising wooden patterns in no-bake or Lost Foam/Full Mould processes.
We offer the following cast iron grades:
• Grey irons GJL-200, GJL-250, GJL-300, GJL-350 acc. to PN-EN 1561 from 200 kg up to 40 tons.
• Ductile irons GJS-350-22, GJS-400-18, GJS-400-15, GJS-400-12, GJS-500-7, GJS-600-3, GJS-700-2 acc. to PN-EN 1563 from 200 kg up to 30 tons.
• Alloy irons Ni-hard, Ni-resist, high chromium cast irons HCCI, SSDI from 500 kg up to 20 tons.
We manufacture the largest iron castings in Poland and one of the largest in Europe for the machine construction, shipbuilding, energy and mining industries. The customers for our castings are renowned machine manufacturers all over the world. We export approx. 65% of our castings.
Approx. 25% of production are castings produced in Lost Foam/Full Mold technology. This process utilizes disposable styrofoam patterns that are not removed from the mould. During the pouring, the pattern undergoes gasification and the liquid metal reproduces the shape of the pattern. The technology is dedicated to unit production due to the significantly reduced cost of the pattern as well as the shortened production time.
For more than 10 years, we have been one of the market leaders for mounting plates, measuring plates, angle plates and worktables. Our constructions are the result of careful design that guarantees stability and lack of deformation under maximum load. The optimized production process allows the obtainment of castings with a uniform structure, free from shrinkage defects. Proper cooling conditions allow for the reduction of internal stresses both during mechanical processing and assembly as well as operation at the customer's site.
We manufacture worktables and other equipment according to individual customer needs in terms of dimensions and the scope of machining. We deliver mounting plates with complete equipment. Basic parameters:
